Inside the workshop
Each piece moves through the same six stations on our bench. No shortcuts, no glue-only spines, no laser etchings pretending to be hand work.
We start with vegetable-tanned leather from a fourth-generation tannery in Tuscany. Each cover is shaped damp, beveled with a French edger, and slicked until the grain glows.
Two needles, one thread, every signature. If a stitch ever fails, the rest hold.
Open it to page 200 and it stays open. No cracking, no thumb-pinning, no fight.

24k gold or matte graphite, applied with a bone folder.
Initials struck with brass type and a hand press.
